VODICE

Vodice,town and port in northern Dalmatia, 11 km northwest of Sibenik. It has beautiful pebble and sandy beaches that stretch east and west of the town and are surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. Tourism started to develop in the 1960s. Vodice nowadays offers an extensive tourist offer and is a very popular tourist destination. Accommodation is available in hotels, apartments and camping sites. There are some hundred restaurants, cafes and bars in Vodice. Restaurants primarily serve seafood and traditional Dalmatian dishes. The sports and recreational offer includes three tennis complexes, soccer, basketball and volleyball, as well as diving and windsurfing schools.
